The final countdown…

doo dee doo doooooo, do dee dooo doo doo dooooooooooooo

Man. I can't believe that the time has come. Tomorrow, my book goes on sale – to be either loved, hated, lukewarmed or disregarded by the reading public. A lifetime of dreaming and over a year of writing is finally culminated in one gorgeous book. What a gift!!! I feel blessed and happy, and nervous in the best possible way. What will be, will be. It's all about the journey, as my Dad says. Very true.

If you find yourself near or in a bookstore tomorrow, and you see my little book waiting patiently to be purchased, please take her home. And if you're feeling really ambitious, take a photo of yourself with it and send it to me. Fully clothed, preferably, and in no compromising positions. You know who I'm talking to.

Well, it's time to sign off. If you're in Brooklyn tomorrow night, please stop by Book Court in Cobble Hill at 7 PM. I'll be reading from the book and wine will be flowing.

  1. Good luck tonight Zoe!!!!
I wanted to make the trek from CT to your book reading tonight but think my little one is coming down with a cold. (Damn you mucus!) With that said, I am going down to my local Border’s and getting my copy 🙂
I promise I am not “stalking your whole life” (Jersey Shore reference, sorry) but I initially found your blog by indeed Facebook stalking (guilty pleasure, lol) and random clicking led me here. I think lots of women are going to connect to this book and considering the fact that publishing a book has always been a dream of my own- I am vicariously sharing your elation. Lol
Absorb the moment my fellow Furbster, I’m sure it’s only the first of many to come!
P.S. TOTALLY plugged your book for summer reading at the high school! It’ll be a great way to teach the kiddos to hold onto the dream of following their passions in life. (Yup, already got that much without even reading it yet.) Why do most of us give that up impending the 30 year mark anyway? Lol Rock it out chica!
