Every morning I read my NY Times Morning Newsletter, bracing for the horror the news so often delivers but appreciating the writing’s concise and conversational tone, not to mention the pop culture shoutouts and occasional bomb recipe. Imagine my surprise when I clicked to discover my Modern Love podcast today, chosen as “Best of Audio 2023”? I almost spit out my coffee.
